Pros: Much lighter, seems to carry heavy loads well due to the horizontal frame, 55L internal capacity (plus external capacity), has a Y strap on top to carry my bear canister. The Kakwa 40 is much lighter than even the Circuit (as is the Kakwa 55). I have done a little over 300 miles with it, with 20-30 lbs; even at the upper end the pack was hardly noticeable.
